Sales Account Manager - Finance Industry

Position Description

How would you like to get into a fast-growing vertical of the financial industry?  Our company is a cutting-edge specialty finance company offering working capital to small businesses across the U.S.   The Sales Account Manager will handle day-to-day deal flow, talking continually with our vendor partners as well as small business owners, explaining our products and solving clients’ problems. Your goal will be to maintain good client relationship, ensure each client’s deals are processed and underwritten and all follow-up items are clearly communicated to the client in a timely way.

The Account Manager will be part of the Sales team.  Success will be measured by the team’s ability to achieve business goals, by ensuring excellent service.  Compensation consists of a base salary and full benefits, plus monthly sales incentives.


  • Build strong relationships with external sales agents, acting as a dedicated point of contact for their accounts
  • Call small business clients to explain financing options that we’re offering them, and troubleshoot any issues that come up
  • Handle incoming phone calls and emails concerning specific accounts
  • Maintain detailed tracking of the status and follow-ups on each deal, from the time it is submitted to the time it funds


  • Associates or bachelor’s degree required
  • Positive attitude and good interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong work ethic, with demonstrated commitment to achieving results
  • Strong time management & ability to direct their own work without constant supervision
  • Ability to understand our product (basic math and features)
  • Prior work experience involving sales and/or customer service
